Singapore's Changi Airport consists of four terminals. Terminals 1, 2, and 3 are all connected, allowing passengers to walk between them or take the Skytrain for quicker access. This connectivity also provides more opportunities for shopping and exploring different lounges. Terminal 4, however, is located in a separate secured area and can only be accessed via a bus ride.


  1. Terminal 1 (T1):

Terminal 1 is the oldest of the terminals. It has been upgraded multiple times to improve and upgrade its facilities. The terminal handles both international and regional flights. Also, it is connected to the other terminals via the SkyTrain.

  1. Terminal 4 (T4):

Terminal 4, the newest terminal at Changi Airport, primarily serves Jetstar, Jetstar Asia, Cathay Pacific, and AirAsia. It is linked to Terminals 1, 2, and 3 by shuttle bus services, you may need a Terminal 4 boarding pass to enter this terminal.

Transfer Between Terminals


  1. By Skytrain

    Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are connected to the free SkyTrain service in both public and transit areas.

  2. Walking 

    Use the travelling bridges between the two stations to travel between T1 and T3 in the Transit Zone.

    To travel between T2 and T3 in the public area, take the bridge between stations T2 and T3 in the transit area.

  3. By Shuttle Bus

Terminal 4 is accessible by free shuttle buses in both public and transit areas. The ride takes about 10 minutes in the public area and 10 to 18 minutes in the transit area.
