A. We would advise you to visit either early in the morning at around 7:00 AM, or late at night at around 11:00 PM to be able to experience the Grand Mosque with fewer crowds around.

A. When entering Makkah for Hajj or Umrah you will need to be wearing specific clothes, which are as follows

Before Entering Ihram:

  • Men: Wear comfortable clothing you brought from home or choose from readily available options in Mecca.

  • Women: Opt for conservative, long, and loose-fitting clothing. Ensure your hair is completely covered with a proper hijab, not a loose scarf.

Once in Ihram:

  • Both Men and Women: Ihram requires special garments. Men wear two seamless white clothes, while women can wear any stitched clothing that meets the criteria of modesty. Remember, comfort is key during your pilgrimage!

Additional Tips for Umrah:

  • Dress in layers, especially if visiting in April. Mecca's temperatures can fluctuate.
